Rating Scale
Given that Google Maps has become a popular resource for users seeking information on restaurants and other businesses. Our primary method of rating establishments is through the use of Google Guide stars, which are awarded to businesses that deliver on their promises. However, we also recognize that there are other important factors that contribute to a great dining experience.
That's why we have developed our unique 7-point restaurant rating system based on seven key factors that we believe are crucial in determining the quality of a restaurant's offerings. These factors include Ambience, Service, Presentation, Flavor, Creativity, Value, and Execution. We award a cedilla (Ç) for each factor that a restaurant is extraordinary at. Therefore, a restaurant can earn a maximum of 7 cedillas (Ç,ÇÇÇ,ÇÇÇ), which we refer to as the million cedillas.
While Google Guide stars are useful in determining the reliability of an establishment, our c-cedillas rating system provides a more detailed and nuanced evaluation of a restaurant's quality. By considering factors beyond the basic expectations of a business, we are able to provide diners with a more comprehensive understanding of what makes a great dining experience. Our approach allows users to appreciate the individual strengths of a restaurant and make more informed decisions when choosing a place to eat.

Why the Ç?
Our use of the c-cedilla (Ç) in our restaurant rating system is not just a random choice of symbol. Instead, it's a play on words and pronunciation that combines both Spanish and French language elements. The English word for "Seasoning" or “Flavor” is pronounced as " Sazon" in Spanish and “Saison” in French, which has a strong emphasis on the letter 'S'. Additionally, in French, the cedilla (Ç) is used to change the pronunciation of the letter 'C' to sound like an 'S.' That is why we call this venture, The Zaçon Guide. Meant to sound like the word “Seasoning” in both French and Spanish.
By combining these two linguistic elements, we came up with the c-cedillas (Ç) as a symbol to represent our extraordinary restaurant rating system. It's not only a unique and catchy way to represent our system, but it also pays homage to the diverse linguistic backgrounds of these cuisine cultures. We understand that flavor and seasoning are essential aspects of dining, and our rating system takes into account the flavor profiles of different cuisines. By using the c-cedillas (Ç) as our symbol, we're also able to reflect the international nature of cuisine and the importance of language in food culture. Overall, our rating system with the c-cedillas (Ç) is a fun and creative way to rate restaurants that everyone can appreciate, regardless of their linguistic background.
